The company's  foundation  was laid in June 1978, by Shri N.M. Mangaonkar and Shri Vivek N. Mangaonkar, which then grew to a Private Ltd. Company on March 10,  1987.

VPD Consultants provides services related to Employees' State Insurance, Employees' Provident Fund, Factories Act and other various labour enactments, to diversified industrial segments namely Engineering , Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, Oil Rigs, Diamonds and Gold Jewellery, Hospitality, Information Technology, Financial Services Banking, Insurance (Life and General), Consumer Products, Plastics, Management Consultancy Firms, Chartered Accountant Firms, Entertainment Industry etc which include established multi-nationals and domestic enterpreneurial groups.Presently we have a clientele of more than 250 such establishments. At present, we are based in Mumbai and cater our services to clients all over India.
